Our First July 4th Together!

On July 4th, 2007 we had a barbecue at Jody's. There were 8 of us including "The Boys" and a few of their friends. After we ate we walked over to Green Valley Ranch park and listened to a concert on the grass and then saw a beautiful display of fireworks. After the fireworks we walked back to Jody's. Just as we started back, the thunder, lightning and hail started and by the time we got back we were all "Wet Rats"! We laughed all the way back. It was a great day!

On May 15, 2007 we started our tomato and basil patch!

WHERE ARE THOSE LITTLE DEVILS?? GROW BABIES GROW!



Everthing started to grow and by July 4, 2007 we had our first crop! The plants are still growing and pretty soon we will add some pictures of our trees! The tomato's and basil are a nice combination and next year we will probably add some other herbs.

The rehersal was on Thursday and the rehersal dinner was on Friday... from left to right is Meighan, Oliver and Elyssa... They are my Grandchildren. Meighan and Oliver belong to my daughter Shannon and Elyssa is Ryan's daughter... they were in the wedding...
Meighan (June) and Elyssa (July) just turned 2 and Oliver was 3 in December.

Our trip to Breckenridge!/ May 18th, 2007

On May 18th, we took a drive to Breckenridge stopping off in Dillon and Frisco along the way. What a great time we had. We had lunch in Breckenridge and even picked up a few large rocks for our backyard. This was actually our 3rd month anniversary so the day was very special. What is going on with me??? I am 60 years old and I feel like I am 20..... Am I acting crazy???

The 3 Musketeers!!/ May 13th, 2007

On May 11th, Dad came for a visit! I wanted him to visit an Independent living complex in Aurora, but I also wanted him to meet Tom. I think the meeting was a success! They both seemed to get along fine infact I think we all had a good time with him here... I love him very much!

P.S. I also love Tom!!!

Our trip to the Denver Zoo!/ May 17th, 2007

Ever since my arrival to Denver I've wanted to go to the zoo, so on May 17th Tom and I packed a lunch and headed to see the animals. When it was time to eat, Tom went to the car to retrieve our picnic basket. I told the ranger at the zoo gate..."When the man in the navy shorts comes back thru the gate tell him he is the zoo's 1,000,000 customer and that he must have his picture taken in front of the zoo sign with a beautiful woman! All went well and I think Tom actually believed the Ranger but he kept pretending to look for the "Beautiful Woman" even though I was standing right underneath the sign!!! MEN......
